Within this image we can see low key lighting. The use of
black is an example of low key lightning. In the background its pitch dark,
this has been employed to make the central image and the smoke stand out as
well as eye catching. In addition, pitch black has perhaps been utilized as a
background colour in order to show that she powerful and a dominant character,
this supported by dark shade covering half of her face.
The use of the bright light on the right side of her face
and smoke in the image could represent an example of high key lighting. Also
this is an example of under lighting, as it comes from below the central image;
this is usually used for Horror movies. But as this isn’t a Horror it
represents her dominance and position in the hierarchy. The under lighting
allows us to vaguely see the location she is sat down smoking.

the image face. Also the shadow makes her face stand out.

in a alleyway. In addition, in this image there’s back lighting. This back
lighting allows the viewers to see that they are walking in an alleyway.
Furthermore, due to lighting we are unable to see the characters faces.

darkness illustrates danger and this is supported by the shock on her face. In
